·           Welcome. 

 
1.Qld Events 
 ·           Discussions on venues with members, options noted, final draft after committee meeting.·           Scoring method to be as per National Events.  Final version will be on BCTC website soon.·           At present we have 4 B Graders racing between events.  Members to be advised everyone invited to race B Grade and must have prop guard, not sealed engines and to advise JK if racing.

 ·           2 banners for fund raising have been purchased by Lakeside Marine, Australia’s Tohatsu Suppler.  Thanks again to Michael Goddard for his support.·           Neptune Marine has purchased two and John Kerrisk Builder has purchased one. 
8.Social Events 
 

·           Suggestions welcome.  Scott Macleod to pursue.

9.TRCA Issues 
 

·           Finishing a race after white flag.  TRCA to advise.

10.Closure of Gold Coast Branch 
 

·           Steve Walter gave final speech.  Thanks Steve and Kat.

 
11.Richie Cunningham re bookwork and outstanding funds 
 

·           As of Monday, 17 March 2008, Richie has advised that all is ready for collection and his expenses total approximately $1,000.  Awaiting reconciliation.

 
12.Indy 
 

·           Try to make a big one of it this year.  Committee to discuss.

13.Racing at the Spit 
 

·           BCTC will be using some of these permits.  Already approved.

 
14.Southport Surf Life Saving Club 
 

·           Keep the positive relationship going – John Kerrisk waiting on contact details from Rick O’Shea.

 
15.Commentating 
 

·           We have a good commentator depending on events which would be seen as a positive move if we can afford it.

 ·           Kill Switches Details.  JK to contact TRCA re what is allowed under TRCA.·           Helmets.  All members to be reminded that helmets are to be 75% either safety orange or safety yellow.·           Fundraising – club shirts, stubbie coolers.  Any ideas please call Scott Macleod.·           BBQ Fundraiser.·           Grant Goodbun – donated 2 helmets.·           Chris Thirkettle – donated 2 helmets.
