Event Overview: RegattaFest 2007
Presented by Mitsubishi Motors

    

Description    Brisbane River will run wild for RegattaFest 2007. With 280 corporate rowers, sailing, 20,000 rubber ducks, thundercats, great live bands and DJ’s and 25,000 spectators in and beside the famous Regatta Hotel.
On Saturday The South Brisbane Sailing Club, in conjunction with Yachting Qld will also conduct a sprint race involving 40+ skiffs, herons and lasers. Saturday night will offer a great viewing location for Riverfire and after party celebrations.

On Sunday South East Queensland clubs, corporates come together on the river during a full day of racing, entertainment and excitement.  RegattaFest continues to bring rowing back to the Toowong Reach of the river where the famous ‘Head of the River’ was always held.  The Great Brisbane Duck Race is back again and 2007 sees Sylvan Road, Toowong alive as a massive Party with live acts.The beneficiary for this years event is the PA Foundation.
